08 Jul Lord Mervyn King Visits Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre (The NCS) To Deliver A Student Lecture
Lord Mervyn King – Former Governor of the Bank of England – recently visited The NCS to talk about the three most important issues facing the World economy at the moment. This was an extremely special day for NCS students; Lord King remains one of the most influential people in economic and financial circles.
After his lecture, students took part in a question and answer session. His answers linked economics, politics and drew numerous comparisons with historical events. An invaluable insight for NCS students’ A Level studies; Lord King’s visit was part of our unrivalled Lecture Programme.
