Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre (The NCS) Student Saadia Delivers A Speech At The House Of Commons Dispatch Box

Everyone at The NCS would like to congratulate Year 13 student Saadia who has delivered a speech from the House of Commons dispatch box this afternoon on the importance of democracy. Saadia is an MYP for Newham, a role which sees her positively represent the views of children and young people in our Local Authority. MYPs are the only group, other than MPs, who are able to sit on green benches in the House of Commons and the privilege of speaking from the Dispatch Box is one that is one that is usually reserved for the leader of the opposition.
