What are the benefits of School Leaver Degree Programmes?
The attraction for students who know the profession they wish to enter, is simple. Your corporate sponsor will fund your higher education studies at a local university. Simultaneously you’ll put your lessons into practice by earning a competitive salary in your sponsor’s workplace. This will often be a mix of training and practical work as part of their team. It will provide you with skills development and knowledge on commercial acumen.
This means that you graduate debt free and will have years of experience in the workplace. Often your sponsor will then have a permanent job lined up for you once the programme ends.

A number of high profile companies offer a form of vocational training. Well known ones include PwC, KPMG, Credit Suisse, Dyson, and BT.
Are School Leaver Degree Programmes Hard to Apply For?
Making a successful application to a vocational leaver / degree programme is highly competitive. Whilst success rates are unknown, spaces are always limited and as such we always recommend applying for these as well as traditional university routes.
