NCS Engineering School
The NCS Engineering School was set up to provide a dedicated service to those students who aspire to study Engineering at some of the world’s leading universities, before heading into successful careers in the field.
With increasing numbers of NCS students wanting to study Engineering or Physics at high-profile Universities, The NCS Engineering School has quickly established a local and national reputation for supporting students with their applications. Every year a large number of students make successful applications to Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL and MIT to name but a few. The NCS Engineering School consists of a team of dedicated experts and is ably led by Dr Maugeri.

As part of the NCS Engineering School, students will receive and participate in:
- Work placements with some of the leading engineering companies in the country.
- Tailored support with university entrance exams such as the PAT, ENGAA and SAT/ACTs for students applying to MIT and the Ivy League Universities.
- Opportunities to participate in the NCS Physics/Maths Project X where students are exposed to first-year undergraduate material.
- Visits to UCL to take part in the NCS/UCL Engineering Club & the summer school.
- Information and guidance on all the major Engineering courses, ranging from course structure to interview-style questions.
- Represent The NCS in national and international Physics and Engineering competitions.
- Workshops delivered by undergraduates studying at leading universities providing application support/advice and insight into the key topics/issues within engineering.
- Routine visits by Engineering Admission tutors to provide NCS students with information and guidance on how to make a competitive application.
- A dedicated lecture programme delivered by high-profile guest speakers who are experts in their field.
- Opportunities to participate in weekly events run by the EngSoc.
- Weekly Oxbridge tutorials for students applying to study Engineering/Physics at Oxford or Cambridge
