Since The NCS opened in 2014, our vision has been to provide a high-quality holistic education to able students in Newham. Having been open for six years now with a proven track record for achieving outstanding A Level results and NCS Alumni at Ivy League Universities, Oxbridge, Russell Groups and competitive school leaver programmes; we want to open up the doors of The NCS and support more students in our borough.
This year we launch our NCS ELEVATE programme; an opportunity for a select number of Newham students to study at The NCS with a contextual grade offer and targeted support. We understand that sometimes, students face difficulties in their lives which may result in lower than expected attainment and progress. The Elevate programme is for students who may have faced barriers in their learning but are eager to progress and show potential, ambition and commitment.
This is the first in a series of programmes The NCS will launch in the coming years to expand our Social Mobility impact. The Elevate programme has been designed to support students and make contextual offers for those who would benefit from the academically rigorous and ambitious environment at The NCS.
