Emerging Talent Programme

Play Video

Our Emerging Talent Programme has been created to give NCS students an insight into the career/s they have interest in pursuing.

To ensure it’s relevant, cutting edge and challenging, our Emerging Talent Programme has been designed in conjunction with industry and academic experts.

The Programme’s aim is to expose NCS students to the skills and knowledge required so that they are in a better position to compete for a place at a competitive university or high profile internship. It provides students with career insight days, relevant industry placements, mentoring from industry experts and our NCS mentors and alumni.

What can students expect from our Emerging Talent Programme?

Freedom to Explore Sectors

One of the greatest benefits of our Emerging Talent Programme is the way in which it allows NCS students to explore multiple career sectors and discover the realities of the workplace, the skills required to succeed and the varying routes into each industry. Why is this important? It will allow you to find which sector your talents are best suited to and where to focus your efforts in developing skills and university course selection.

Soft Skills Development

Every NCS student has the opportunity to attend classes and workshops designed to develop key soft skills that will allow you thrive in your career. These are many of the top skills that employers seek in candidates that they hire, including but not limited to; interpersonal and listening skills, improving your communication, creative thinking, problem solving and time management.

Professional Schools

In addition to our Emerging Talent Programme, The NCS has also established bespoke schools in areas that are amongst the most popular sectors that interest our students the most. Each one is led by a dedicated Director of Admissions whose knowledge of the sectors will unlock even deeper exploration and opportunities in each sector.
