Behaviour and Dress Codes

Behaviour

The NCS is committed to creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and shared values where effective learning can take place and all students can flourish. Students must take responsibility for keeping the shared work areas and social spaces clean and tidy, leaving all teaching and communal areas as they would wish to find them. This includes the obvious rules of no food or drink in the buildings and no mobile telephones outside of the social space. Students are allowed to listen to music in private study as long as it cannot be heard by anyone else.

Dress Codes

The NCS operates a smart business and professional dress code.
Students must wear the correct uniform at all times. This includes on their way to, at and on the way home from the NCS. It is a symbol which students are recognised within the community, it fosters a sense of pride for, and respect of the learning environment as well as preparing them to enter the professions.
