Dr. Catherine Sebastian read Experimental Psychology as an undergraduate at Oxford University, where she also completed her MSc in Neuroscience. She got a PhD in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience from UCL. Dr Sebastian is now a Senior Lecturer at Royal Holloway University. She has been a guest speaker on Radio 4 and took part in a podcast with The Naked Scientists.

In her lecture at the NCS, Dr. Sebastian gave our students an insight into what studying psychology entails and the different branches of psychology. She then shared with us some of her research into understanding the adolescent brain.
